Who We Are

At The Rose Bowl September 2013

Pasadena Quarterbacks At The Rose Bowl

The Pasadena Quarterbacks club was established in 1945 is to provide the community with an opportunity to hear a variety of speakers associated with sports in general, but especially football at all levels—college, professional and high school. 2019 will be our 75th season as an integral part of Pasadena’s institutional fabric.

This season the Quarterbacks will hold thirteen weekly lunches at The University Club of Pasadena, an exceptional venue with a popular buffet and top-notch accommodations. Prices are $30 per lunch for members and $35 for non-members and guests. These lunches commence on Friday, August 30th, and conclude on Friday, November 22nd, a schedule that annually corresponds to the regular college football season.

This season again will feature a unique array of speakers with interesting and entertaining topics and experiences that should make for a successful series of programs. Please return here to our website for the current list of our speakers and details for each of their meetings.

The Pasadena Quarterbacks are a 501.C3 charitable organization and donate annually to the local chapter of the National Football Foundation, which each year recognizes outstanding high school scholar/athletes in the San Gabriel Valley for their success on the field and in the classroom. We also donate to the booster clubs or athletic departments of the local high schools whose coaches we invite to speak or be our guests at several of our meetings.

Financial support for the Quarterbacks’ luncheon programs and community donations comes from member dues, luncheon charges for both members and non-members, and sponsorships from individuals and local businesses. The generosity and support of our sponsors the past two seasons has been a key factor in elevating the Quarterbacks overall success.
